ALKIRE, TIMOTHY M., 62, BLAIRSVILLE, PA
died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. He was born April 26, 1950 in Latrobe, PA, the son of the late Maurice Alkire and Sophie (Kubinec) Alkire. He enjoyed mall walking, being outdoors and spending time with his Family & Friends. He is survived by his niece, Peggy Su Alkire of Blairsville, PA, niece, Stacy Lee Simmons & husband Dave of Shelocta, PA, nephew, Shawn McCune & wife Lorraine of Greenfield, IN, nephew, Shayne McCune & wife Rebecca of New Alexandria, PA, great nieces & nephews, Amy, Sarah, Matthew & Deanna McCune and Casey, Zack & Jamie Simmons and also many Special Friends from Life Steps. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy McCune, sister, Donna Alkire, nephew, Shevin McCune and his infant twin Brother. The Family will receive friends on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis Marshall will officiate. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
