Francis Paul "Bimbo" Rankin

RANKIN, FRANCIS PAUL "BIMBO", 61 OF LUCERNE MINES, PA

went to be with the Lord at home, in his sleep on Thursday, April 4, 2019.  He was born March 17, 1958 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Blair Rankin and Evelyn (Adams) Rankin. He was a member of the American Legion #493 and Club Savoy both of Homer City and Handyman's of American Club.  He enjoyed wood working and tinkering around the house.  He loved his dogs Duke and Conway.  Bimbo loved being with his family, golfing, playing pool and darts.  He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Deborah (Lohr) Rankin, Lucerne Mines, PA; daughter, Maria Jackson & husband, Scott, Homer City, PA; daughter, Missy Rankin & fiancé, Dustin Gribschaw, Indiana, PA; daughter, Trisha Rankin & fiancé, Charlie Buzard, Lucerne Mines, PA; grandchildren: Ryan & Kierra Jackson, Destiny Gribschaw, Leighton Buzard and Mary Posgay; sister, Barbara Dominguez, Homer City, PA; brother, Bernard Rankin, Clarion, PA; sister, Luann Boozer & husband, Ed, Lucerne Mines, PA and also several Nieces & Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Rankin; sister, Denise Flowers and brother, Kenneth Rankin.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM  and  6:00 PM  to  8:00 PM, at which time a funeral service will be held at 8PM.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 to help with final expenses.
