Hazel M. Singer

SINGER, HAZEL M., 84 OF SHELOCTA, PA

passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019  at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.  She was born February 17, 1935 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Norman Ewing and Emily (Medsker) Ewing.  She was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Lewisville, PA.  Hazel retired from Blairsville Westinghouse.  She loved crocheting, embroidering and working puzzles.  She also loved to cook and bake.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald W. Singer, Shelocta, PA; sister, Ruth Crawford, Shelocta, PA; brother, Ray Ewing & wife, Jeannie, Menard, OH and also several Nieces & Nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers: Norman, Kenneth, James, John, Edward & Clair Ewing and sister, Trudy Lawson.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 2:00 PM   to  4:00 PM  and  6:00 PM  to  8:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Timothy Monroe will officiate.  Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
