Jean Miller

MILLER, BEATRICE JEAN, 98 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019  at Keeper of the Flame Morewood, Blairsville, PA.  She was born July 17, 1920 in Wehrum, PA, the daughter of the late William Beard and Lila (Graham) Beard.  Jean was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville.  She had worked as a cashier at the former A&P of Blairsville.  She is survived by her son, Ralph C. Miller & wife, Karen, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Janet M. Robinson & husband, George, Cramer, PA; grandchildren: April Smyth & husband, Kevin, Holly Straw & husband, Mike, John Petrarca and Derrick Miller & wife, Keri; great grandchildren:  Bailey Miller, Anthony & Ian Smyth and Ava Straw; sister, Wilma Sloughfy, Zelienople, PA; sister, Thelma Jones, Waterford, PA and also several  Nieces & Nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Miller who died October 2, 2007; brother, Ralph Beard; sister, Verta Mae Liebel; sister, Marie Plowman and twin sisters, Joyce & Janet Beard.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on  Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA  on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  Rev. John Buchmann will officiate.  Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 135 E. Burrell St., Blairsville, PA 15717.
