Mary Jane Hankinson

HANKINSON, MARY JANE, 80 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Thursday, October 03, 2019 at UPMC East, Monroeville, PA.  She was born June 21, 1939 in Aultman, PA, the daughter of the late Robert Henderson and Emma (Thompson) Henderson.  She was a member of the First Christian Church, Indiana, PA. She had retired as an LPN at Beacon Ridge.  She was a supporter of the Blairsville Reality Tour Group and she enjoyed traveling with friends and family.  Mary Jane enjoyed sitting with her friends at Morewood Towers and spending time with Ruth Ann.  She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hinsinger & husband, Joe, Blairsville, PA; son, John Weaver & wife, Darla, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Kim Hancock & husband, Denny, Blairsville, PA; son, George Weaver, Blairsville, PA; son, Daniel Weaver & wife, Kim, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Debra Shreckengost & husband, Shannon, Blairsville, PA; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren and also 2 Nieces & 2 Nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Henderson; sister, Margaret Phipps and brother, Charles Henderson.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with a funeral service to be held at 8:00 PM.  Rev. Jerry Hoch will officiate.  Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
