Matthew P. Mazzoni

MAZZONI, MATTHEW P., 35 OF MIAMI, FL, FORMERLY OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in Florida.  He was born January 31, 1984 in Latrobe, PA.  He was a graduate of Blairsville High School Class of 2002 and was a graduate of IUP Culinary Institute in Punxsutawney.  Matthew was a private chef and took pride in his work.  He enjoyed motorcycle riding, art, getting tattoos and traveling.  He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and hunting with his Dad.  Matt is survived by his mother, Sandra (Smith) Mazzoni, Blairsville, PA; grandmother, Dorothy Mazzoni, Blairsville, PA; sister, Kayla Mazzoni, Savannah, GA; sister, Erin Mazzoni, Philadelphia, PA; sister, Amy Mazzoni, Blairsville, PA; niece, Kendal Escalona; several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Mazzoni in 2008; paternal grandfather, Edward Mazzoni and maternal grandparents, Louis & Lois Smith.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 2 PM to 6 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 10 AM, with Pastor Judah Thomas and Elder Robert Mencer officiating.
