VANETTA, THOMAS LEE "PAINTER", 72 OF CATALINA, AZ, FORMERLY OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA
passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his home in Pima County, Arizona. He was born September 23, 1946 in Latrobe, PA, the son of the late Thomas W. Vanetta and Ivy Jean (Palmer) Vanetta. Tommy served as a US Marine during the Vietnam war. He was retired from the auto industry as a painter and mechanic. He was a member of the Seeker's Motorcycle Club. He is survived by his brother, Ronald Vanetta & wife, Michele, Jeanette, PA; sister, Kay Dejongh & husband, Edgar, Indiana, PA; nephew, John T. Vukman & Heidi Anderson, Josephine, PA; nephew, Brian Vanetta, Ligonier, PA; nephew, Michael Vanetta, Greensburg, PA; nephew, Jamison Halldin, Marion Center, PA; niece, Alicia Altman & husband, Kody, Elderton, PA and friend, Michele Boone, Catalina, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laurie Ann Vanetta in 2009 and brother, David C. Vanetta in 1994. The Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 10:00 AM til 11:00 AM the time of a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Cunkelman will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Blairsville, PA. If so desired, donations may be made to CORE, 204 Sigma Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
