passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.  He was born May 23, 1935 in Latrobe, PA, the son of the late Edward V. Henigin and  Catherine Rose (New) Henigin.   He was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville, PA.  Bob was a 1953 graduate of Blairsville High School.  He retired from Penn Dot in 1989.  He also worked as an advertising salesman for Kaeser & Blair and had worked at Blairsville Machine Products. . He had operated a snack bar at Indiana Sportswear and ran the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Blairsville.  He was a D.J. for WMPT, Williamsport, PA.  He loved the oldies music and songs.  Bob was the president of the Young Democratic Club, Indiana, PA and had served on the Blairsville Borough Council and was its past president.  He became acquainted with statesmen in the government.  Bob liked going to "Long Drivers" camp in Coudersport and gardening.   He is survived by his daughter, Regina Beilstein & husband, William, Butler, PA; son, Robert J. Henigin, Jr., Homer City, PA and ex-wife, Rose M. (Ondo) Henigin, Homer City, PA.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Henigin and infant siblings, William & Regina.  In keeping with Bob's wishes, visitation and services were private.  Interment was in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.

Bob was my first" boss "when my Mom and I worked with him at the snack bar at Indiana Sportswear. I was a kid of 17 and he taught me alot. Always had a smile and a song and made me proud to be his friend for over 50 years!
