Anna Catherine Mosco

MOSCO, ANNA CATHERINE, 92 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Keeper of the Flame Morewood, Blairsville, PA.  She was born March 25, 1927 in Blairsville, PA, the daughter of the late David Scuccimarra and Madeline (Pete) Scuccimarra.  She retired after 25 years as a Nurses Aide at Torrance State Hospital.  She was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville, where she belonged to the Angels of Compassion.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading and doing puzzles.  Anna is survived by her son, Paul R. Mosco & wife, Peggy, Blairsville, PA; grandchild, Michael Mosco & wife, Nicole, Lock Haven, PA; grandchild, Chad Mosco & wife, Melanie, Johnstown, PA; grandchildren: Jonathan, Christopher & David Mosco & Diana; great grandchildren: Ella, Addison, Evan & Jacob Mosco; sister, Helen Walter, Carmel, IN; sister-in-law, Lillian Scuccimarra, Blairsville, PA; nieces, Linda & Lois Walters, IN and Lisa Auvil & husband, Richard, Blairsville, PA.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Emeric "Peco" Mosco in 1991; son, Philip Mosco in 2005; brother, David Scuccimarra and brother-in-law, Russ Walters.  Due to the circumstances in the world today, the family is having private visitation.  A mass of christian burial will be celebrated at SS Simon & Jude Church at the convenience of the Family.  Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.  The family would like to thank the administrators of the Keeper of the Flame, Rob & Sharon Smith and Melodie Lavan and the staff members, Patty, Crystal, Kayleih, Heather, Vanessa, Helen, Jan, Christina, Robin, Maddy & Vicki.  Also a special thanks goes to Dr. Scherer and the Penn Hospice nurses.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Keeper of the Flame Morewood, 101 Morewood Ave., Blairsville, PA 15717 for the wonderful care given to Anna.
