Anna M. Pavell

PAVELL, ANNA M., 96 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019  at Keeper of the Flame Morewood, Blairsville, PA where she resided for many years.  She was born September 27, 1922 in Blairsville, PA.  Anna was a lifelong member of the SS Simon & Jude Church in Blairsville where she married William Pavell on May 6, 1961.  She is survived by her sister, Mary Vukman & husband, John, Blairsville, PA; sister-in-law, Suzanne Yourish, Latrobe, PA and also many Nieces, Nephews and her Keeper of the Flame family.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dante Dettorre; mother, Maria (Barbetta) Dettorre; husband, William J. Pavell and her brothers: Andrew, Joseph, John "Sam", Lewis "Gene", Frank, Henry & Albert Dettorre.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with prayers of transfer at 10:15 AM.  A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM in SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville, PA.  Fr. Stephen R. Bugay  will officiate.  The family would like to thank the staff of Keeper of the Flame for the many years of care and friendship.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anna's name to Keeper of the Flame Morewood, 101 Morewood Ave., Blairsville, PA 15717 or to a charity of one's choice.  Interment will be in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery,  Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
