Arlene Sabedra

SABEDRA, ARLENE, 84 OF TORRANCE, PA

passed away on Friday, June 05, 2020 at The Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Greensburg, PA.  She was born January 26, 1936 in Torrance, PA.  Arlene had worked as a beautician at her mother's shop, Sabina's, in Latrobe for many years.  She was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville, where she was very active in many church functions.  She was also a member of the Court of St. Theresa.  She is survived by several Nieces & Nephews.  Arlene was preceded in death byher mother, Sabina Sabedra in 2009; uncle, Manuel Sabedra; uncle, Lupe Sabedra and aunt, Rose Jubinsky.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 on Tuesday, June 09, 2020 from 11:00 AM  to  12:30 PM.  Prayers of transfer will be at 12:30 PM, prior to a mass of christian burial at SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville at 1:00 PM.   Fr. Stephen R. Bugay  will officiate. Interment will be in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  Due to the current health crisis, masks will be required at the Funeral Home and at SS Simon & Jude Church.
