Arthur S. Kerley

KERLEY, ARTHUR S., 71 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at S. Fayette Nursing Center, Markleysburg, PA.  He was born November 16, 1950 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late John Russell Kerley and June (Rummel) Kerley. Everyone knew Art!  He enjoyed recycling cans from people in town, riding his bicycle everywhere and spending time at the Blairsville Library.  Art is survived by his siblings: David Kerley & wife, Roberta, Blairsville, PA, Jane Smith, Evansville, IN, Susan Nevell & husband, William, Morrisdale, PA, Thomas Kerley & wife, Marlene, Blairsville, PA and Eugene Kerley & wife, Melissa, Vintondale, PA and also several Nieces & Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John R. Kerley and nephew, Gary Kerley.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 on Thursday, December 09, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Dawn Krishart  will officiate.  Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Blairsville Public Library, 113 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717.
