Barbara Eileen (Cunningham) Romasco, 85, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her home. She was born December 2, 1938 in Cokeville, PA. Barbara graduated from Blairsville High School Class of 1956 and worked at PNC Bank until retirement. Barbara was our leader, our glue, our tradition maker, and the one who instilled family is everything. She was our shopper, our "fancy", our gardener, our traveler, and a breast cancer survivor. She was our artist that, with Denny, designed and painted crafts and home decor but also painted the scene for what unconditional love and togetherness really means. Her love of life, celebration, Denny, family and friends was beyond and passed down by the example she was and the traditions she created. We will continue the traditions, the games, the love of life and family. Thank you for providing such an amazing foundation. You are our sunshine, and always will be. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, E. Denis Romasco, whom she married on July 13, 1957; daughter, Kimberly S. Smith (Ken), of Charlotte, NC; son, Brian S. Romasco (Brenda), of Greensburg, PA; son-in-law, Michael Tatone, of Blairsville, PA; six grandchildren, Cortney, Jackie, Adam, Jennifer, Allison, and Marcus; ten great grandchildren; and her devoted caregivers, Fran, Cindy, and Stacey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Olive (Foster) Cunningham, sister, Ollie Mae Benamati, and her daughter, Denise D. Tatone. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 1st from 12 PM until 2 PM at Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Barbara's memory at the Alzheimer's Association: https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2?df_id=51079&51079.donation=form1&mfc_pref=T&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paidsearch&utm_campaign=giving_google_SL&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD8nX1p315b2TBNKBq3cci3-m2cCI
