Betty L. (Knepp) Harris

Betty L. (Knepp) Harris, 89 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at her home.  She was born  March 31, 1935 in Middleburg, PA, the daughter of the late Merle Knepp and Josephine (Corson) Knepp. Betty was an avid member of the Blairsville First United Methodist Church.  She had worked at Torrance State Hospital as a registered nurse for 35 years. Betty enjoyed traveling, woodworking, reading, going out to eat, shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Bernabei, Indiana, PA; daughter, Barbara Gray & husband, Scott, Blairsville, PA; son, Brian Harris, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Marie & Ashley Bernabei; great grandchildren: Gabriel,Tiana & Eliah; step-grandchild, Nathan Gray; step-great grandchild, Cameron; and sister, June Hornbaker, Lancaster, PA.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Harris, Jr; son-in-law, Dean Bernabei and brother, Robert Knepp.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  The Indiana County Nurse Honor Guard will conduct a service at 11 AM.  A memorial service will be held at Noon with Pastor Jen Krishart officiating.  Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
