Bonnie Lou (Cornman) Hilty

Bonnie Lou (Cornman) Hilty, 80 of Derry, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Scenery Hill Healthcare, Indiana, PA.  She was born November 12, 1944 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Clifford Cornman and Bernice (Dixon) Cornman. Bonnie was a member of the former Assembly of God Church, Blairsville.  She was a caregiver to many people over the years.  She loved reading, listening to worship music, shopping, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.  

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Cornman, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Diann Aaron & husband, James, Indiana, PA; son, Erik Hilty & wife, Jodi, Latrobe, PA; grandchildren: Daniel, Jesse, Shelby Lou, Tyler, Zachary, Carter, Jessa & Abel; great grandchildren: Julia, Keara & Hayden and siblings: Margie Platt & husband, Ed, Nancy Circle, Kathy Hilty & husband, Cliff, Raymond Cornman, Dennis Cornman & wife, Marion, Daryl Cornman & Rhonda and Don Cornman & wife, Jodi.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Cornman and a baby sister.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Rearick officiating.   Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Bonnie's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Scenery Hill, Grane Hospice, 365 Hospice and her roommate Barb Adams for the special care given to Bonnie.
