Carole Faye (Humphreys) Smith

Carole Faye (Humphreys) Smith, 86 of Strangford, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Maple Valley Nursing Home, Indiana, PA.  She was born June 24, 1939 in Indiana, PA.

Carole was a 1957 graduate of Blairsville High School and was a member of the former Strangford United Methodist Church.  She had worked in the deli department at Shop N Save for many years.  She loved going to flea markets, garage sales and rides in the car with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James E. Smith; son, Brad Smith & wife, Deb, Indiana, PA; daughter, Brenda Butterbaugh & husband, Scott, Indiana, PA; son, Bart Smith & wife, Tama, Torrance, PA; grandchildren:  Kevin Smith & fiancée, Kara Goss, Becca Miloser & husband, Jason, Doug Smith, Brian Butterbaugh, & wife, Asjylyn, Ashley Glance & husband, Cody & Jesse Smith and also 8 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane (Holby) McGinity; step-father, Frank "Fritz" McGinity; 3 step-brothers and great grandchildren, Beau Glance & Ava Smith.
