Carolyn Shipley Ashley

ASHLEY, CAROLYN SHIPLEY, 71 OF INDIANA, PA

passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA.  She was born October 25, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late John H. Shipley and Ruth G. (Gugger) Shipley.  Carolyn was a retired teacher.  She enjoyed genealogy and family history.  She also enjoyed scrapbooking, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Duchesneau & husband, Mark, Indiana, PA; son, Aaron James LaMonica, Elmira Heights, NY; grandchildren: Jack, Joel & Jessa Duchesneau and  Albert Dodson  all of Indiana, PA and Hannah, Amelia, Anthony & Madeline Ashley of Elmira Height, NY.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ashley; sister, Ruth Shipley and brother, John Shipley.  In keeping with Carolyn's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
