THOMAS, CLARENCE M. "Tank", 82 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA (DERRY TWP.)
passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. He was born June 26, 1938 in Latrobe, PA, the son of the late William Thomas and Eleanor (Queer) Fetter. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Latrobe, PA. Clarence retired from Westinghouse. He was a member of the BPOE #406, Blairsville and Loyalhanna Lodge #275, Latrobe. Tank loved all kinds of sports and used to run many softball leagues in Latrobe, PA. He is survived by his daughter, Debra Bowser & husband, Gary, Curwensville, PA; daughter, Brenda Beisner, Leonardtown, MD; son, Dan Bell & wife, Sharon, Homer City, PA; son, Robert Bell, Lucerne Mines, PA; daughter, Patricia Kattera & husband, Ken, Greensburg, PA; grandchildren: KayLee Morrill & husband, Brandon, Leechburg, PA; Stacey Leger & husband, Chad, McIntire, PA; Robert Bell, Jr. & wife, Kristin, Homer City, PA; Tim Bell, Lucerne, PA and Dan Bell, Jr., Indiana, PA; Great Grandchildren: Kayla, Kyleigh, Mason, Alaina, Cody, Jocelyn & Chase; many Nieces & Nephews; his first wife, Juanita Thomas; sister, Bonnie Goldberg, Latrobe, PA and sister, Marilyn Blew, Latrobe, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Mikeska) Bell Thomas in April 2020 and sister, Evelyn Urzik. The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 1-5 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Jeffrey Shock will officiate. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, Pennsylvania. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Clarence's name to a charity of your choice. In accordance with current state guidelines, masks are required.
