Daniel Clair Colbert

COLBERT, DANIEL CLAIR, 71 OF DERRY, PA

passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at his home.  He was born December 28, 1951 in Vandergrift, PA, the son of the late Donald Colbert and Margaret Colbert.  He was a US Navy Veteran.  Daniel had worked for Piad Precision Casting for over 30 years.  He then worked for Mountain Pines Campground in maintenance.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, working, mowing grass and tending to the flowers.  

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beth Ann (Leitza) Colbert, Derry, PA; daughter, Jessica Ann Colbert & husband, Lawrence Vernon Haase, Latrobe, PA; daughter, Jennifer Claire Lopes & husband, Jonathan, Derry, PA; grandchildren: Madison, Sophia, Hunter & Jack and also numerous Nieces & Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tim Colbert.

The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to11:00 AM.  Blairsville Military Honor Guard will conduct a military service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
