Daniel R. DeGruttola, Jr.

DEGRUTTOLA, JR., DANIEL R., 65 OF DERRY, PA

passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at  Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA.  He was born  December 9, 1956 in Latrobe, PA, the son of Daniel R. DeGruttola, Sr. and Harriet (Fumea) DeGruttola.  He was a graduate of Blairsville High School Class of 1975.  Dan retired from the Local 3 Iron Workers Union.  He enjoyed hanging out with his grandchildren, gardening and taking care of his tropical fish.  Dan was a avid Penguins, Steelers and Pirates fan.  He is survived by his mother, Harriet (Fumea) DeGruttola, Blairsville, PA; fiancée, Sharon Hastings, Derry, PA; son, Daniel J. DeGruttola & Chantal Townsend, Blairsville, PA; son, Nicholas M. DeGruttola & fiancée, Rachel Barron, Blairsville, PA; son, Vince DeGruttola & wife, Megan, Derry, PA; son, Ben DeGruttola, Blairsville, PA; sister, Danna Rae Johnson & husband, John, Patton, PA; sister, Stephanie Glass & husband, Tim, Blairsville, PA; sister, Mary Kaylor & husband, Ron, Blairsville, PA; brother, Jason DeGruttola & wife, Jennifer, Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren: Dominic, Alyssa, Grace, Vince Jr., Madison & Lydia and also many Nieces & Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel R. DeGruttola, Sr.; grandparents and nephew, Dylan Kaylor.  In keeping with Daniel's wishes, all services will be private.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA.
