Debra A. Lyons

Debra A. (Dillon) Lyons, 70 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.  She was born January 18, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Charles Dillon and Mary (Didion) Dillon.  She had worked at Keeper of the Flame as a Nurse's Aid for many years.  Debra loved playing the lottery and Bingo.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Schmitt & partner, Terry, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Marianne Lyons & partner, Mike, Philipsburg, PA; grandchildren: Michael "Billy", Colton, Ellena and Kayden; siblings: Linda Sterley, Indiana, PA; Patte McElhoes & husband, Patrick, Blairsville, PA; Ron Dillon & partner, Bev Clawson, Blairsville, PA; Teresa Lowman & husband, Ron, Blairsville, PA; Donna Crawford & husband, Richard, Blairsville, PA and Matt Dillon, Oklahoma City, OK and also numerous nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pam Busler; sister-in-law, Anna Dillon; brother-in-law, Michael Sterley and significant other, Steve Smithula.

A celebration of life will be held at Pine Ridge Lodge, 1055 Chestnut Ridge Road, Blairsville, PA 15717 on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 3:00 PM.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037.
