Dennis J. "Denny" Fisher

FISHER, DENNIS J. "DENNY", 75 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA 

passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his home.  He was born October 03, 1944 in Monessen, PA, the son of the late Clair Fisher and Rose (Cocchiara) Fisher.  Denny served in the US Navy.  He was the owner of Fisher Auto Repair, Muffler Outlet and Hose Xpress, Blairsville, PA.  He belonged to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent, PA.  Denny was a member of the Latrobe Pidgeon Club.  He enjoyed racquetball, golf and spending time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Catherine (McAdams) Fisher, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Catherine Steeves, Blairsville, PA; son, Thomas Steeves & wife, Betsy, Blairsville, PA; son, Clifford Steeves & wife, Sylvia, Blairsville, PA; son, Mark Steeves & wife, Lesley, Blairsville, PA; son, David Fisher & wife, Tina, Harrisburg, PA; son, Mark Fisher & wife, Sue, Charleroi, PA; daughter, Denise Hafer & husband, Bill, Blairsville, PA; 15 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Sheryl Carroll.  Due to the circumstances of the world today, all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Denny's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
