WILSON, DENNIS P. "DENNY", 63 OF HOMER CITY, PA

passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at his home.  He was born September 28, 1957 in Indiana, PA.  Denny was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucerne, PA.  He was a member of the Red Barn Sportsmen's Club, Homer City Area Athletic Club and he was a coach for many years for the Homer City Bears Football.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the Outer Banks vacationing.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheila (Huston) Wilson, Homer City, PA; mother, Pauline Wilson, Homer City, PA; daughter, Jamie Arone & husband, Tony, Homer City, PA; son, Matthew Wilson & Misty Wilson, Homer City, PA; grandchildren: Savanna Ahlborn, Jaxson Arone, Zachary Wilson, Carson Arone, Mason Arone & Andrew Wilson; sister, Denise Novak & husband, Tony, Brownsville, PA; several Nieces & Nephews; father-in-law, Leonard Huston & wife, Michelle and father-in-law, Roger Lydick.  He was preceded in death by his father, David S. Wilson; brother, Daniel Wilson and mother-in-law, Linda Lydick.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 Monday, October 26, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  A private funeral service will be held at 7 PM.   David Cook will officiate.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks will be required in the Funeral Home.  Interment will be in the Germany Lutheran Cemetery, New Florence, Pennsylvania.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Homer City Area Athletic Booster Club, PO Box 11, Homer City, PA 15748.
