Dolores R. "Dorrie" (Bollinger) Forsha

FORSHA, DOLORES R. "DORRIE", 92 OF BLAIRSVILLE

passed away on Saturday, February 01, 2020 at Rose Haven, Indiana, PA​.  She was born January 31, 1928 in Derry, PA​, the daughter of the late John Bollinger​ and R. Delores (Whitmore) Bollinger​.  Dorrie had attended the Hopewell United Methodist Church, Blairsville, PA.​ She was a graduate of Blairsville High School Class of 1946 .  Dolores was very active member of the Blairsville Historical Society where she was museum and research chairperson and also served as a board member for many years.  In 2015 she was presented the honorary title of Museum Director Emeritus.​  She is survived by her son, Frank  L. Forsha, Jr. & wife, Valerie, Milton, PA​; daughter, Paula Lynn Anderson & husband, Gregory, Indiana, PA​; grandchildren: Colin Forsha, Williamsport, PA​, Jennifer Nguyen & husband, Phat, Pittsburgh, PA​ and Joshua Anderson & wife, Rachel, Monongahela, PA​; great grandchildren: Haley, Lexi, Benjamin & Elizabeth​; sister-in-law, Anna Forsha, Chambersburg, PA​; sister-in-law, Peggy Bernini, Newton Falls, OH​ and also numerous Cousins, Nieces & Nephews​.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Frank LeRoy Forsha Sr. in 2004​; sister, Joyce Heilbrun​; brother and sister in-law, Don & Doris Henigin​ and also Doris & Andy Duncan​.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St.,  Blairsville, PA 15717 on Tuesday, February 04, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.​  A funeral service will be held in the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. on  Wednesday, February 05, 2020 at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Dan Cunkelman  will officiate.​  Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blairsville Historical Society, 116 E. Campbell St., Blairsville, PA 15717 or ​Blairsville Public Library, 113 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717​.
