SINGER, DONALD W., 88 OF SHELOCTA, PA

died on Friday, July 09, 2021 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.  He was born June 04, 1933 in Irwin, PA.  Don was a US Army veteran of Korean War.  He attended the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Lewisville, PA.  Don had worked 35 years at Blairsville Westinghouse and farmed all of his life.  He is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Crawford, Shelocta, PA: niece, Darlene Crawford, Shelocta, PA and several Nieces & Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Hazel M. (Ewing) Singer.   The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held at 6 PM with Rev. Timothy Monroe officiating. Committal service and full military rites will be conducted in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Ebenezer Church, c/o Karen Davis, 41 Maple Ave., Blairsville, PA 15717.
