Donna P. Ferguson

FERGUSON, DONNA P., 85, BLAIRSVILLE

passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.  She was born January 7, 1934 in Blairsville, PA, daughter of the late Spencer Pride and Margaret (Barr) Pride. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville, PA where she held many positions over the years.  She enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of the Chestnut Ridge Ladies Golf Association.  Donna was a member of the Blairsville Order of Eastern Star, Blairsville Historical Society and Century Club.  She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Bob through all of the states in the US.  She still enjoyed going to Nags Head with her family every year for a family vacation.  Donna enjoyed going out to eat with her friends every Friday and Saturday and also playing cards in many card clubs.  Donna helped her husband, brother-in-law, son and grandson run the family business for many many years.  She is survived by her son, James F. Ferguson, Blairsville, PA; son, Robert Scott Ferguson, Frazier, CO; son, Mark W. Ferguson, Blairsville, PA; grandson, Jeremy Hancock, Austin, TX; grandson, Cory Ferguson & wife, Alyssa, Clymer, PA; grandson, Taylor Ferguson, Pittsburgh, PA; grandson, Tyler Ferguson & fiancé, Samantha Nicholson, Blairsville, PA; several Nieces & 1 Nephew.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Ferguson in 2016; daughter-in-law, Reba Ferguson; brother, Spencer Pride; nephew, Dr. Douglas S. Pride and 2 infant sons.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday  2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additional visitation will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville, PA on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 10:00- 11:00 AM.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Brett Dinger  will officiate.  Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blairsville Public Library, 113 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717 or Blairsville Historical Society, 116 E. Campbell St., Blairsville, PA 15717.
