Dorothy Corbett

Dorothy (Marsh) Corbett, 93, formerly of Blairsville, passed away January 14, 2023, at Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehab, Indiana, PA.   She was born July 16, 1930.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Marsh and Lula (Deemer) Marsh; her loving husband, Donald; and daughter, Beverly Corbett Daw.

She is survived by her children:  Kerry (Sandi) Corbett of Port Charlotte, FL;  Ken (Vanessa) Corbett of Blairsville, PA; Brad (Liz) Corbett of Blairsville, PA; Barbara (William) Tarabek of Southport, NC; and Wayne (Michelle) Corbett of Blairsville, PA,  her 11 grandchildren: Dr. Jennifer Corbett (Jaap), Jill Corbett (Brian), Eric Daw (Katie), Evan (Sue) Daw, Chad Corbett, Duane Corbett, Casey Tarabek, Ashley Tarabek, Larissa (Chris) Schroyer, Maxx Corbett, and Lea Corbett; and 9 great grandchildren: Lex, Parker, Finley, Damian, Simon, Logan, Ashlyn, Preston and Lincoln.

Dorothy was excellent at cooking, baking, sewing and crocheting.  She loved traveling and shopping on her trips to Florida and Bruges, Belgium.  

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  Dorothy’s family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the nurses, aides, and administration staff at Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehab for their wonderful care.  Contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to Beacon Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehab, 1515 Wayne Avenue, Indiana, PA, 15701.
