Elizabeth J. Quick

Elizabeth J. (Burkley) Quick, 82 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville, PA.  She was born April 2, 1943 in Bairdstown, PA, the daughter of the late Elmer Burkley and Hannah (Irwin) Burkley.  Betty was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville.  She enjoyed going for walks and spending time with her family.  Her nieces & nephews have many fond memories of her babysitting them over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Dunmire, Blairsville, PA; son, Richard Quick & wife, Sonya, New Florence, PA; grandchildren:  Glenn, Clinton, Autumn & Nyssa; great grandchildren:  Bonnie, Lorraine & Eleanor and also numerous nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Clair Richard Quick; brother, Pat Burkley; sister, Ann Crowe and sister, Mildred Keeno.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4-6 PM with a funeral service held at 6 PM. Interment will be held in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you just spend some quality time with your family in memory of Betty.
