SHIRLEY, GLENDA L., 60 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

Glenda L. Shirley, 60 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at her home. She was born on August 26, 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas Barberich and Hughina (Patterson) Barberich.  Glenda was a member of SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville.  She had worked as a customer services representative for Reliant Holdings.  Glenda enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren and going on vacation to the beach.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, George W. Shirley, Sr., Blairsville, PA; daughter, Megan Dunmire, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Lauren Shirley, Indiana, PA; grandchildren: Travis, Zion, Rhiannon, Jesiah & Aria; brother, Thomas Barberich & wife, Denise, Blairsville, PA; niece, Ashely & Nephew, Tommy.  She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson; Brian J. Dunmire, Jr. and maternal grandparents: Glenn & Grayce Patterson.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  A blessing service will be held at 7 PM with Fr. Stephen R. Bugay.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 to help with final expenses.
