Grace C. Markel

MARKEL, GRACE C., 87 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA (BLACKLICK TWP.)

passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.  She was born November 27, 1933 in Blairsville, PA, the daughter of the late Charles Palmer and Anna (Kettering) Palmer.  She helped her husband, Harry run the former Markel Greenhouse in Blacklick Twp.  Grace loved spending time with her family and being a great MA to her 2 granddaughters, Tina & Kala.  She is survived by her son, Edward Markel & wife, Karen, Penn Run, PA; daughter, Kathleen Fedoruk & husband, Nick, Blairsville, PA; granddaughter, Tina Fedoruk; granddaughter, Kala Markel Miller & husband, Jon; sister, Jackie Laney, Homer City, PA; sister, Margie Pividori, Black Lick, PA and also many Nieces & Nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry E. Markel in 2019 and 13 Brothers & Sisters.  In keeping with Grace's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
