WADDING, HARRY LEE, 74 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA
passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Pittsburgh VA Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born April 01, 1947 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Kenneth Wadding and Emma (Lamar) Wadding. Harry served in the US Marines as a helicopter gunner during the Vietnam War where he achieved a marine security code. He had attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Indiana, PA. He was a coal miner, truck driver and member of the UMWA. Harry loved working on foreign cars, riding his grandkids around on his mower, spending time with his family and going on drives with his wife. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Viola (Stipcak) Wadding, Blairsville, PA; son, Jason Wadding & wife, Amanda, Homer City, PA; son, Kevin Wadding & fiance, Ashley, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Kevin, Aspin, Megan, Ethan, Nathan, Emmy, Ray, K.J., Aiden & Katie; brother, Carl Wadding & wife, Karen, Sandusky, OH; several Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lynn Plopi in 2017 and brothers, William Wadding and Kenneth Gene Wadding. The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Dan Cunkelman will officiate. VFW Post #5821 & the American Legion Post #0407 will conduct graveside military services Friday morning. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Four Footed Friends, 220 Beck Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
