JR Lee Keener

JR Lee Keener, 44 of Smithton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born November 16, 1981, the son of the late William Keener and Cheryl (Reitz) Keener.  JR was a big Steelers fan.  He enoyed throwing a football around with his family and hanging out with family and friends.  He is survived by his children:  Jayde Keener, Trevor Keener, Kendalyn Clancy, Brynne Keener, Naomi Knolle, Kirsten Hiles, Nathan Hiles & Brendan Hiles; several siblings and his lifelong companion, Heather Hiles. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherri Hiles.  In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no services.
