James Daniel Henry, Sr.

James Daniel Henry, Sr., 89 of Black Lick, PA, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Lynn Haven Personal Care Home, Black Lick, PA.  He was born August 16, 1936 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Enos Henry and Ruth (McClaren) Henry.  James enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandkids.  Everyone knew him as "Chain" while trucking.  He worked for Kepple Trucking and LaMantia Produce.

He is survived by his son, Gary Henry & wife, Michelle, Black Lick, PA; daughter, Jamie Wagner & husband, Thomas, Black Lick, PA; son, James Henry, Jr., Black Lick, PA; grandchildren: Jeremy Paulson & wife, Amber, Brian Paulson & wife, Gabrielle, Tera Paulson, Tommy Wagner, Laura Rowley, Ayden Henry, Shauna Long & husband, Ron, Chelsea Runkle, Cassie Douglas, Rebecca Rowley, Zachary Paulson, Tiffany Harris, Megan Russell & Kaylin & Kenzie Dehart; numerous great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and also a special friend, Betty.  He was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife, Patricia Henry; grandchild, Shawn Michael Henry; brothers, Ralph Henry and Hank "Junior" Henry.

In keeping with James' wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  Interment will be held in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  The family would like to send a special thanks to Lynn Haven & Hospice 365 for the great care given to James.
