Janice K. (McAdoo) Murphy

Janice K. Murphy, 80 of Homer City, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at her home.  She was born June 16, 1945 in Homer City, PA, the daughter of the late William "Ben" McAdoo and Elsie (Gardner) McAdoo.  Janice loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Murphy, Blairsville, PA; children: Elizabeth Lawson & husband, Matt, Jeffrey Black and John Black; many Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren and also her siblings:  Jeanie Murphy & husband, George, Tim McAdoo & wife, Tina, Randy McAdoo, Margie Brewer & husband, Ed and Gary McAdoo & wife, Diana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Stacy Sleasman; son, Greg Black and siblings, Shirley Ferraro, Lydia Rothrock, Virgil, William & Larry McAdoo.

In keeping with Janice's wishes, there will be no visitation.  A private graveside service will be held in the Coral Lutheran Cemetery, Coral, PA.
