Jeanette (Stone) Banks

BANKS, JEANETTE (STONE), 92 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Country Living Personal Care Home, Blairsville, PA.  She was born February 19, 1928 in Webbers Falls, OK, the daughter of the late John Stone and Flossie (Glisson) Stone.  Jeanette had worked at Torrance State Hospital in the Dietary Department. She was a longtime member of the Hebron Lutheran Church, Blairsville, PA.  She belonged to the Red Hat Society and enjoyed quilting and reading.  Her greatest joy was her family.  She is survived by her son, Richard J. Banks & wife, Kathleen, Indiana, PA; daughter, Jennifer Varrato & husband, Colin, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Julie Davis & husband, Michael, Clarksburg, PA; grandchildren: Rick Banks, Matt Banks, Jon Kunkle,Jillian Jacoby, Siobhan James, Rory Varrato, Andrew, Michaela & Max Davis; great grandchildren: Jody, Cassidy, Charlie, Henry, Jack and Fritz and great great grandchild, Meela and her sister, LaVada Stone.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Banks in 2000; daughter, Shelly Ann Banks and brothers, Notch Stone and Paul Stone.  Due to the circumstances in the world today, all arrangements are private.  Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blairsville Area Military Group, 14 Miller Drive, Blairsville, PA 15717.
