Joanne L. (Windows) Cribbs

CRIBBS, JOANNE L. (WINDOWS), 88 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Thursday, December 01, 2022 at Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA.  She was born January 29, 1934 in McIntyre, PA, the daughter of the late Milson Windows and Catherine (Turnbull) Windows.  Joanne was a member of the CrossRoads Community Church, Blairsville.  She enjoyed gardening, going to garage sales and flea markets and enjoyed camping, especially at Yellow Creek campground.  She was also a wonderful homemaker who made the very best pies ever.  Joanne is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard R. Cribbs, Blairsville, PA; children:  Samuel "Kurtz" Williams, KS, Rodney A. "Rick" Williams, Darla Jo Ferguson, Blairsville, PA and Jeffery L. Williams; step-children: Jeffery R. Cribbs & wife, Glenda, Indiana, PA, David A. Cribbs & wife, Sandy, Indianapolis, IN, Perry F. Cribbs, Blairsville, PA and Gregg L. Cribbs & wife, Amy, CO; 12 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren; sisters: Jean Hoak, Apollo, PA and May L. Windows, Homer City, PA and brothers: Thomas  I. Windows, Corning, NY and Ronald M. Windows, Canton, OH.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Dorothy Baer & June V. Farina and brothers:  Gordon E. Windows, Richard S. Windows and William H. Windows.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Sunday, December 04, 2022 from 4-7 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the Ferguson Funeral Home on Monday, December 05, 2022 at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Linda Corle will officiate.  Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Joanne's name.
