John W. Brozick, Sr.

John W. Brozick Sr., 90 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at his home.  He was born February 17, 1935 in Bolivar, PA, the son of the late Frank Brozick and Stella (Sulkosky) Brozick.  He married Mary Ann Robertson on June 4, 1960.  He was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville.  John worked as an aide at Torrance State Hospital.  He enjoyed his grandchildren and attending their sporting events.  John was a devoted lifelong caregiver to his son, David.

He is survived by son, David Brozick, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Lisa Halmes & husband, Steve, Blairsville, PA; daughter-in-law, Susan Dunning, Newtown, PA; grandchildren:  Nicholas Halmes, Steven Halmes & fiancee Carly Conigliaro, Brian Hockin & wife, Elizabeth & Paul Hockin & wife, Lindsay; 4 great grandson & 2 great granddaughters; sister, Genevieve Novak & husband, Herk, Greensburg, PA; brother, James Brozick, Greensburg, PA and also several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann ( Robertson) Brozick in May 2025; son, John W. "Jack" Brozick, Jr in 1989; stillborn baby in 1965 and several brothers & sisters.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4-8 PM.   A wake service will be held Friday evening at 7:30 PM.  Prayers of transfer will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 AM prior to a funeral mass in the SS Simon & Jude Church at 10:00 AM.  Fr. John Pavlik  will officiate.  Interment will be held in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
