Kathryn (Grosklos) Weimer

Kathryn (Grosklos) Weimer, 85 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at her home.  She was born January 8, 1940 in Nicktown, PA, the daughter of the late Carl Grosklos and Leona (Stuby) Grosklos.  She was a member of the Jennerstown Community Church.  Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.  She loved baking, going to the casinos and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Richard Weimer, Jr. & wife, Anita, Blairsville, PA; son, Michael Weimer & wife, Jill, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren:  Kristin Shaffer & husband, Kyle, Brittany Weimer, Erica Weimer and Saydee Weimer & fiancee, Dylan Jones; great granddaughter, Lilliana Kate Shaffer and her best friend and niece, Charlene Weimer, Latrobe, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard W. Weimer, Sr. in 2013; son, John Weimer; brother, James Grosklos; sister, Patricia Clark and sister, Mildred Bellish.

In keeping with Kathryn's wishes, all services will be private.  Interment will be held in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, Pennsylvania.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made in her name to Jennerstown Community Church, 1673 E. Pitt St., Jennerstown, PA 15547.
