Laura Almeda Ramsden

RAMSDEN, LAURA ALMEDA, 73 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.  Laura was born July 20, 1947 in Indiana, PA.  She formerly worked for Streams Ambulance Transfer Service, Indiana, PA, had been a Deputy Coroner of Indiana County and worked at the Westmoreland County Prison and Pine Grove State Correctional Institute.  Laura was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Aultman Baptist Church and was a majority member of Jobs Daughters.  She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Ramsden Sr., Jeannette, PA; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Reeger & husband, George, Altman, PA; daughter, Grace  A. Sommers & husband, Brian, Sewickley, PA; son, Ed Ramsden, Jr. & wife, Tracey, Saltsburg, PA; son, Calvin D. Ramsden & wife, Pamela, Saltsburg, PA; son, Curtis E. Ramsden, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Rebecca J. Davis & husband, Gary, Jeannette, PA; 10 Grandchildren: George Reeger III & wife Brittany, Samantha Chelsted & husband Matthew, Regina Ankney & husband David, Scott Sommers, Brooke Laura Sommers, Hope Ramsden, Christopher Ramsden & wife Marrissa, Corey Ramsden, Tyler Vatter & Tiffany Lingenfelter and Timothy Vatter; 8 Great Grandchildren; sister, Sandy Senick, Homer City, PA and also many Nieces & Nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Dudley C. Rhea.  In keeping with Laura's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
