Linda Jean Robison

Linda Jean (Johnstonbaugh) Robison passed away Monday, March 11 at Loyalhanna Care Center in Latrobe, PA.   Linda was born on February 27, 1948 to George L. Johnstonbaugh and Velma D. Sheats in Lock Haven, PA.  She graduated from Bellefonte High School in 1966 and on July 1, 1967 she married Gary L. Robison.  In 1978 Gary and Linda moved their family to Blairsville, PA where they raised their 3 children: Steven Robison, Terri Medellin and Greg Robison.

Linda had worked many years for Brizzi’s Candy and Nut Shop and had also been a long-time member of the Friday Night Women’s Bowling at the Sokol Lanes.  She enjoyed gardening, her house plants, baking and traveling in their camper.

She is survived by her husband, children, her sister, Carol Bechdel, Flemington, many nieces and a nephew and her grandchildren: Emily and Sarah Medellin, Nicholas and Charlie Robison. She was also a special Nana to Elizabeth and Rachel. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George H. “Buddy” Johnstonbaugh.

The family is planning a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
