LIBENGOOD, LLOYD EARL, 89 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

Lloyd Earl Libengood, 89 of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 08, 2021 at his home.  He was born August 05, 1932 in Strangford, PA, the son of the late Earl Libengood and Beatrice (Yeager) Libengood.  He was a 1953 graduate of Blairsville High School.  Lloyd was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War.  He retired from Standard Steel and also worked as a carpenter and did plumbing and electrical work.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Lou (Bennett) Libengood, Blairsville, PA; brother, James Libengood, Strangford, PA; sister, Virginia Beggs, Orlando, FL; sister, Shirley Ashcraft, Orlando, FL; sister, Ruth Christian, OH and also several Nieces & Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lawrence Libengood and sisters: Dorothy Blazek, Esther Wright & Betty Crosby.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 2-6 PM.  A funeral service will be held at 6PM.  Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
