Lois A. Walters

Lois A. Walters, 70 of  Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at her home.  She was born February 2, 1953 in Latrobe, PA, the daughter of the late Russell H. Walters and Helen J. (Scuccimarra) Walters.

Lois was a Kiski area graduate.  She earned a bachelors degree from Clarion and a masters degree from Marian University.  She then went on to be a high school counselor at Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill, Indiana.  Lois enjoyed singing in various church choirs, quilting, was an avid movie watcher and loved animals, especially her dog, Tilly.

She is survived by her sister,  Linda J. Walters, Bloomsburg, PA and was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held in the Ferguson Funeral Home, Blairsville on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Segundino Laude officiating.  Interment will be in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
