Lynette S. (Stock) Busse

BUSSE, LYNETTE S. (STOCK), 69 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA, FORMERLY OF LAKELAND, FL

passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at her home.  She was born June 12, 1953, in Latrobe, PA, the daughter of the late Norman Stock and Irma (Ewart) Stock.

Lynette was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL. She was an X-Ray Technician for Lakeland Regional Medical Center for 28 years.  She enjoyed volunteering her time with mentoring at risk children in Lakeland, FL.  Lynette also was an avid Nascar fan, loved the outdoors and watching birds.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Veta "Ashley" Wagar & husband, Peter, Rochester, PA; step-grandchildren: Malachi, Phoenix, Eden & Enoch Wagar and Kaitlyn Jennings & husband, Justin; step-great grandchildren: Savannah, Braylee & Dustin Jennings; sisters: Marjorie Ward & husband, Tom, Blairsville, PA, Norine Kasperik & husband, Nick, Gillette, WY, Leslie Allore & husband, Tim, Lakeland, FL and Melanie Odom & Joe Neff, Petrolia, PA and also many Nieces & Nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents, William & Minnie Ewart; paternal grandparents, Leo & Margie Stock; husband, Thomas Busse; son, Mark Phillips; daughter-in-law, Becky Phillips and sister, Norma Lynn Stock.

The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM.   Prayers of transfer will be held at 10:45 AM prior to a memorial mass of Christian burial in the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville at 11:00 AM.  Fr. Stephen R. Bugay will officiate. Interment will be held in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
