Margaret "Peggy" Campbell Pyda

Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth (Boring) Campbell Pyda, 92 of Robinson, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.  She was born September 04, 1932 in Robinson, PA, the daughter of the late Richard Boring and Elizabeth (Wissinger) Boring.  Peggy was a member of the Black Lick United Methodist Church where she was a head usher, a member of the Lay Committee, Susanna Circle and Administrative Counsel at Large.  She retired from Torrance State Hospital as a Psychiatric Aide.  Peggy was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Robinson, Fiery Red Hat Society of Blairsville, A.S.F.M.E. Local #8301 and the member of the Dinner Club for over 40 years.

She is survived by her sons: Ronald Lee Campbell & wife, Wanda, Robinson, PA, Donald Wayne Campbell & wife, Marlene, Latrobe, PA, Ted Richard Campbell & wife, Kim, DE and Randy Alan Campbell & wife, Jan, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Donnie Campbell & wife, Lisa, Derry, PA, Christina Marsala & husband, Robert, Monroe, LA, Tonya Murphy & husband, James, Plainfield, IN, Matt Campbell, Indiana, PA, Carrie Campbell, Greensburg, PA, Nancy Mallard, Greensburg, PA, Jessica & James Campbell, Blairsville, PA, Beth McConnell, Johnstown, PA, Steve Gaul & friend, Joann, Las Vegas, NV, Adam Ksebe & wife, Nastya, DE, Ameena Clark & husband, David, DE and Jamal Ksebe & wife, Victoria, DE; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Simon Scottie Boring, Robinson, PA and also numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas J. Pyda in 2008 and siblings, Evelyn Irene Boring, Rita LaRue Boring, Harry R. Boring and Ira LeRoy Boring.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on  Monday, December 9, 2024 from 4-7 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kim Betz officiating.  Interment will be held in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Tabor Church, 4660 Rt. 22 HWY E., Blairsville, Pa 15717.
