Margaret "Peg" Robinson

ROBINSON, MARGARET "PEG", 93 OF INDIANA, PA FORMERLY OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Communities of Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.  She was born March 05, 1927 in Greensburg, PA, the daughter of the late Leslie A. Chick and Margaret H. "Midge" (Hamilton) Chick.  Peg was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church, Indiana, PA where she had served as a deacon in the past.  Years ago, she was the "Amana Radar Range" lady at the former Pyle Appliance of Blairsville.  She was a great supporter of small town local businesses, working as a main street manager for downtown Blairsville, Meadville and most recently Indiana.  She was a member of the Indiana Garden Club, the Indiana Arts Council and also the Indiana Ball Room Dance Club, where she enjoyed dancing with her special friend, the late Halley "Doc" Willison. She was also a member of the Blairsville Century Club and the Blairsville Monday Night Music Club.  Peg was a piano accompanist throughout her high school years.  She loved "The Shore", dancing and painting.  Peg had a true appreciation for the beauty of nature. She loved her 9 Grandchildren and when her Great Grandchildren came along, she loved them just as much.  She is survived by her son, Robert A. Robinson, Tucson, AZ; daughter, Ruth R. Sulkosky and husband, George, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Judy R. Cavalancia and husband, Jeff, Indiana, PA; son, Jay H. Robinson and wife, Corinna, Round Top, TX; grandchildren: Anton Sulkosky & wife, Kelly, Roman Sulkosky & wife, Dana, Angela Shoop & husband, Josh, James Cavalancia & wife, Kaite, Carmen Buggey & husband, Shane, Desiree Cavalancia, Dakota Robinson & wife, Sarah and Ryder & Dusti Robinson; great grandchildren: Luke, Benjamin, Simon,  Ethan, Isaac, Kian & Parker, 1/2 brother, William Chick & wife, Kay, Indiana, PA and 1/2 sister, Leslie McMaster, Austin, TX.  She was preceded in death by her brother, George Chick.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.  A private service will be held at 1PM with Rev. Timothy Monroe officiating.  Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Indiana Garden Club, 2 Whites Woods Trail, Indiana, PA 15701.
