Mark Wayne McIntire, Sr.

MCINTIRE,SR., MARK WAYNE, 62 OF JOSEPHINE, PA

passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2022 at his home in Josephine, PA at the age of 62.  He was born  August 10, 1959 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Emma (Shingler) McIntire.  Mark's hobbies including working on and rebuilding vehicles and he had a passion for classic muscle cars.  He loved watching John Wayne, Elvis & Western films, grilling at the annual family cookout and spending time with his children and grandchildren, watching them grow up.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rose McIntire, Josephine, PA; son, Mark Wayne McIntire, Jr. & wife, Tabitha, Johnstown, PA; daughter, Catherine Shirley & husband, Robert, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Victoria McIntire, Josephine, PA; daughter, Jennifer Wolf, AZ; adopted son, Donald Shingler, Johnstown, PA; adopted son, Allen Luker, Johnstown, PA; step-daughter, Sheila Holmes, Liberty, NC; step-daughter, Melissa McCarty & husband, Edward, Blairsville, PA; life long friend and cousin, Bobby McIntire & wife, Lil, Johnstown, PA; 22 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; sisters, Stacy & Karen; brother, Allen; favorite niece, Crystal Bryner, Josephine, PA and step-father, Gene Shingler, FL.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma (Shingler) McIntire; brother, Gregory Shingler; sister, Chrissy Luker; grandson, Tyler McIntire and granddaughter, Angel Lineberry.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Monday, August 01, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A graveside service will be held in the Germany Lutheran Cemetery, New Florence, Pennsylvania at the convenience of the family.
