Mark B. "Elmer" Palmer

Mark B. "Elmer" Palmer, 58 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home.  He was born October 14, 1966 in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Franklin Palmer, Sr. and Violet (Shirley) Palmer.  Elmer was a 1985 graduate of Blairsville High School and had worked at Hilty Excavating.  Elmer loved watching the Steelers, cooking pizza and was a Kentucky Headhunters fan.  

He is survived by his son, Scott Palmer, Blairsville, PA; brothers: Frank Jr., Robert "Higgs", David "Joe" and Ed Palmer; sisters: Donna Henry, Rhonda Barnhart, Brenda Palmer, Patty Guile & husband, Jim and Jenny Cooper & husband, Terry; many nieces & nephews and also his special friends, Bob Shacreaw and Scott Hafer.  He was preceded in death by his parents and close friend, Larry Griffin.

In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 to help with final expenses.
