JONES, MARTHA JANE, 81 OF HOMER CITY, PA
passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Magee Women's Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born December 29, 1936 in Tearing Run, PA, the daughter of the late Harry Cain and Martha (Hysong) Cain. She was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, PA. She had worked at Federal Laboratories, Tunnelton, PA, also the former Blue Ridge Restaurant as a cook and waitress and worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed reading and watching the Steelers. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Walter Thomas Jones, Homer City, PA; son, Jeffery Lee Jones & fiancé, Betsy Morningstar, Indiana, PA; daughter, Julianne Jones & fiancé, Robert Smith, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren, Ashley, Gabriella, Marayna, Cody and Robbie & also her sister Marion Kensey, Indiana, PA. Martha was preceded in death by her brothers, Harrison & LeRoy Cain and sisters, Evelyn Bash, Leona Grumbling and Judy Jack. In keeping with Martha's wishes, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Armagh Cemetery, Armagh, Pennsylvania.
