Mary A. "Noni" Colench

COLENCH, MARY A. "NONI" (DULOVIC), 108, BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021at Keeper of the Flame Morewood, Blairsville, PA.  She was born March 03, 1913 in Spissky Stiavnik, Czechoslovakia. She was one of Indiana County's longest living residents.   Mary had attended the old Mahan School House.  She was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville.  Mary was an accomplished seamstress.  Even at her age of 108 she loved painting, crocheting and playing Bingo.  Mary also loved traveling and driving all her friends around town.  She loved spending time with all of her family.  She married the late Herman Colench in 1935.  She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn "Mim" Yarchak Zubalik, Blairsville, PA; Patricia "Pat" Halmes, Blairsville, PA; son, James H. Colench & wife, Bonnie, Rolla, MO; grandchildren: Joyce Judge & husband Kevin, Nancy Yarchak & Tim Williams, Tama Sellers & husband Brian, Kathleen Kromel & husband Art, David Zubalik & fiance Christina,  Susan Snyder & husband Calvin, Steven Halmes & wife Lisa, JoAnn Coler & husband Robert, John Halmes Jr., Patrick Halmes, Paula Williams & husband Matthew,  Cindy Greene & husband Rob, Jeff Colench & wife Heidi, Denise Griffitts & husband Harry, Lisa Cunningham & husband Patrick and Daniel Colench & wife Brenda; 27 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Great Grandchildren; sister, Ann Orlando, NJ; brother, John Lukcik, Blairsville, PA and sister, Frances Davis, Blairsville, PA.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Dulovic and Maria (Sedmak) Dulovic; step-father, Martin Lukcik; husband,Herman Colench in 1995; great grandchildren, Thomas Emge & Derek Griffitts; brothers: Steven Dulovic and Andrew & Frank Lukcik; sister, Catherine Voiku and sons-in-law: Thomas Yarchak, Jack Halmes & David Zubalik.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  Prayers of transfer will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, December 31 at 9:15 AM prior to a Funeral Mass to be held in SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville at 10:00 AM.  Fr. Stephen R. Bugay will officiate.  Interment will be in the SS Simon & Jude Cemetery
