Mary Janet Stahl

Mary Janet (Stitt) Stahl, 85 formerly of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Fairview Hospital, Cleveland, OH.  She was born January 28, 1939 in Clymer, PA, the daughter of the late Elmer Stitt and Martha (Trout) Stitt.  Mary had been a registered nurse for many years, having worked for Indiana Hospital and Torrance State Hospital.  She was a member of the Pine Flats Christian Church.  Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and baking, apple pies being her specialty.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Craig & husband, Lance, Mercer, PA; daughter, Paula LaBar & husband, Gregg, Lakewood, OH; grandchildren: Tim LaBar & wife, Lauren, Katie LaBar, AJ Craig & girlfriend, Jeanne Barbour and Hailey; sister, Grace Jamison and several cousins, nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Stahl; sister, Molly Stitt and brother, James Stitt.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Penrose officiating.  Interment will be held in the Pine Flats Cemetery, Pine Flats, Pennsylvania.
